RISK FACTOR FOR BREAST CANCER

1.ESTROGEN EXPOSURE- HORMONE PRODUCED BY THE OVARIES AND THE PERIPHERAL FAT. increased exposure are brought about by early menarche (onset of menses) and late menopause,oral contraceptive pills, and or no pregnancy,
2.RADIATION such as xray and radiation therapy
3.OBESITY-probably due to peripheral conversion of fat to estrogen
4.FAMILY HISTORY. the mutations in the BRCA1 and BRCA 2 genes
